100 years ago the first airships and airplanes started and landed on the small airfield near Vienna. Only a few miles away from Vienna International Airport (VIE) the airfield was closed long ago.
To celebrate the 100th anniversary the airfield was reactivated for 2 days in June 2009.
Thunderclouds to the east and south luckily didn’t come nearer, so the show got a real success.
